Microsoft has named it yet to be released OS of its flagship brand Windows as “Vista” formerly known as Longhorn. They mention “It enables a new level of confidence in your PC and in your ability to get the most out of it.”

I went to the Windows Vista homepage and found a picture of people in a dim background looking out at the horizon, well if i let my imagination take over, it could well mean that they are going to leave people high and dry with no where to go, will it be the case after the new release, lets hope not. Lets wait and see, it is schedule for release next year, which is well over 5-6 years since the release of the XP. For the meantime i am happy with Mandriva Linux.
