It was drizzling and the lone bus which would take us to back to Tumkur from Siddara Betta was just about to arrive and we we were still about 5 minutes away from the bus stop. But just the view of so many rain droplets made me to stop by and take some photos of the it on the grass, I had to be careful not to get the camera wet and not take too much time. Took a quick couple of photos are had to run to the bus stand.
Generally when I travel to hills I come across lots of monkey, but at the hill in Siddaganga Mutt it was the kids who outnumbered and ran heather tether looking for the freshly broken coconuts. Here are couple of kids busy eating the coconut. In fact the boy in blue shirt is still trying to break the coconut into smaller pieces with his hands as I took this photo.

It is mid afternoon on a rainy day and here I am on a hill where hundreds of Sadhus used to sit and meditate long ago, one filled with underground caves whose other end is unknown. If you have not guessed it yet this hill is called ‘Siddara Betta’. And aptly the atmosphere was just amazing, the hill is said to have curing effect and who can question that. The fog/cloud cover along with rain meant I was feeling over the top of the world. In such a nice environment stood this dry tree, looks almost like a black and white image.
