A flower nearing the end of its life cycle.
Surely a Purple Delight, sorry people do not know what it is called, if you know do let me know by adding a comment.

Lalbagh Flower Show is famous for the large variety of Flowers one can see during the show. But humans are not the only ones attracted by the flowers, we have Honey Bees as well which arrive for their half yearly feast during the flower show.
Welcome to my first post in a brand new year of 2010. Again I start by saying ‘Om Ganeshaya Namaha’. Wishing you all a very happy, successful and fulfilling year ahead.
This is a casually taken photo at the Lalbagh Flower Show but I am really happy with the output of this photo. The colours and the coverage area of the photo is really come out good. I would rate this photo as one of my top captures.

Taken at the Lalbagh Flower Show, Bangalore, this photo was taken from directly above the flower. The stem being small it is not visible giving a feeling of the flowers floating in the air.

Yet another photo taken at Lalbagh Flower Show, there is nothing special in this photo, the colour combination and the buds give a pleasant picture in the minds.
