Yahoo! has released a new beta version of their little known Yahoo! Bookmarks product. Yahoo! already has del.icio.us and My Web under their belt, hence this is their third bookmarking tool. I have not explored My Web, by del.icio.us is a social bookmarking tool which I have been using a bit. The major difference between del.icio.us and Y! Bookmarks is that the former is a social once where as latter is a private one which requires you to login through a Yahoo! account.
Anyways, I gave it a try, imported my del.icio.us bookmarks as per the instructions and tried the service out, every thing is drag and drop. The cool thing about this service is that it supports both folder view and tag view. Currently my inking is for Folder view, which del.icio.us lacks, so this is very convenient feature for me. Then I imported my browser bookmarks and have now everything in place and am happy with what I have seen of it till now.
Currently to post a new bookmark, they offer in a form of a toolbar in fact as a part of Yahoo! toolbar which is currently there only for IE, the Firefox one does not include this feature. So I am having to use the Links toolbar to create a link and click on ‘Bookmark it!’ (called as Bookmarklet) button to bookmark any page. Let me use it for a week or two before deciding whether to stick with it.

I just had a look Yahoo! Bookmarks. It pulled all my data from My Web! 2 and contact information from My Web and Flickr.
This would be a good tool if I could have a live synchronization with my local browser’s bookmarks.
Both Firefox and Opera bookmarks on several computers, of course.
@Aleksandersen: The feature which you are talking about is currently possible with google+firefox, but I am not sure about Yahoo+Firefox/Opera. It will be possible once Y! bookmark becomes more popular.
